Michael Dennehy

Owner / Director

Michael began his film industry career working as an accountant on feature films such as Blades of Glory, Syriana, For Your Co & Hancock.

He moved into the locations department after that, as a Location Agent, representing and acting as the broker between film companies and several high rise office building in downtown LA.

Michael then moved into, and spent years of his career, as a location scout and manager working on hundreds of commercials and PSA’s.

Film Happens Prods marks the successful beginning of his directing and producing career.

Shawn Fields

Director / Editor

Shawn began producing his own material when, in 2000, the release of Final Cut Pro, allowed a professional level of editing to be performed free of a post production facility.

Since then he has worked on projects of all levels and in all departments from Iron Man as a production assistant to the editor of Festival Selected web series such as Big Bother.

His full credits list includes over a dozen short films, features, events, music videos, several web series, Hancock, Paul, Terminator: Salvation, and Cowboys & Aliens.

Directing and producing commercial and PSA spots with Film Happens Productions marks further growth for Shawn in his ever expanding repertoire of work.
